When we humans talk to each other, only a fraction of meaning comes from the actual words. The rest is carried in tone of voice, facial expressions, and body language. A pause before answering. A shift in eye contact. A smile that signals encouragement in one context, but doubt in another.
93% of human communication is non-verbal. Right now, AI is blind to it.
That gap matters. It’s the reason AI conversations often feel flat, mechanical, or even frustrating. It’s why AI coaches struggle to give truly personal feedback, why digital health tools feel cold, and why customer service bots often miss the point.
We believe AI can - and must - do better. That’s why we’re building the first social intelligence layer for AI: a way for technology to perceive, interpret, and respond to the same subtle social signals that humans do.
What this funding means
We’ve raised €2M pre-seed to bring this vision to life. The round was led by PSV Tech, with participation from EIFO, Antler, The Yope Foundation, and several angels from Ada Ventures who share our conviction that social intelligence is the missing piece in AI.
This investment allows us to grow our team and accelerate development of our frontier models and API. The goal: make it possible for any company building human-facing AI to add social intelligence with just a few lines of code.
We’re starting with areas where the stakes are highest - training and coaching, healthcare, and customer interaction - but the potential reaches far beyond. Anywhere AI interacts with people, it should be able to understand more than words.
